Fuji released firmware updates for XPRO2 and many legacy models

Introduction

Fujifilm is well-known for their continuous support of their range of mirror-less cameras through firmware updates. Around twice a year, we can expect these updates that sometimes bring totally new functionality (like an updated autofocus system on the Fuji XT1 and XE2 last year) and various small bug fixes.

Which cameras are included in this Fuji July 2016 firmware update?

The list of firmware updates is quite long this time, even including the X-Pro1:
X-Pro2, X-Pro1, X-T1/X-T1 GS, X-T10, X-E2S, X-E2, X-E1, XF35mmF2 R WR, XF90mmF2 R LM WR, XF10-24mmF4 R OIS, XF16-55mmF2.8 R LM WR, XF18-55mmF2.8-4 R LM OIS, XF18-135mmF3.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR, XF50-140mmF2.8 R LM OIS WR, XF55-200mmF3.5-4.8 R LM OIS, XF100-400mmF4.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR, XC16-50mmF3.5-5.6 OIS II, XC50-230mmF4.5-6.7 OIS II

What does this Fuji ‘Kaizen’ firmware bring?

This new firmware does not bring any spectacular new functionality. Manual focussing with a selected range of lenses has been improved, some small bugs have been fixed and the XF50-140mm and XF100-400mm are now compatible with the soon to be released XF2 TC WR teleconverter.

It’s always useful to update your camera to the latest firmware to ensure that your camera will run as smooth as possible

Where can I download my Fujifilm firmware?

You can download the latest version of your lens and camera firmware on the Fujifilm global support page here.
